At the start of Apr 2021 the German Divisions underwent one of the most famous coup d'etats in Eve history. Articles have been written about this stuff which explain what happened (from a certain point of view) and why it's important much better than a bulleted list can. April 5, 2021 – Coup Drama! In a late-night meeting, Yakazuzma1972 is ousted as CEO, and his executive company is replaced by one led by Anna Niedostepny and Lquid Drisseg. While Yakazuzma1972 loses control of The German Divisions, he retains control of Newbies Inc., the alliance's largest single company. An unprecedented drama ensues on Reddit. People are still whispering about it: "This is exciting, but is it as good as the coup at The German Divisions?" Diabolik1972 is appointed as the alliance's new CEO.
6 Apr 2021 — With the German Divisions in trouble and no longer contesting Catch, Pandemic Legion announce the formation of Pandemic Horde, a (you guessed it) reddit-based new player-focused corp. affiliated with Pandemic Legion. Nobody sees the timing as suspicious.
April 11, 2021 – DRAMA OF COUNTER-RESISTANCE! The coup plotter becomes the coup victim. With the help of a damned patriot and other members of Dropbears Anonymous, Yakazuma1972 regains control of the alliance. Massive purges ensue, the drama on Reddit reaches unprecedented levels, witches are hunted, and pitchforks are sharpened.
